The choice between a liquid culture (LC) and a multi-spore syringe (MSS) dictates the speed, consistency, and success rate of your cultivation project. Understanding the biological differences is critical for optimizing your workflow.

Multi-Spore Syringes (MSS)

An MSS contains millions of dormant spores suspended in sterile water.

  • Pros: Inexpensive, easily stored, and essential for genetic diversity or long-term preservation.
