TL;DR: Our Chrome extensions process everything locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. The only network calls our extensions make are for optional license validation.
1. Who We Are
SporlyWorks ("we", "us", "our") develops and publishes productivity and developer tools as browser extensions. Our extensions are available on the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, and Microsoft Edge Add-ons.
2. Data We Collect
We collect no personal data. Our extensions are designed to operate entirely on your device. Specifically:
- No analytics or tracking: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tracking scripts.
- No telemetry: We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioral data.
- No account creation: We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
- No cookies: Our extensions do not set cookies (except browser-native
chrome.storage for saving your preferences locally).
3. Data Storage
Some of our extensions use the chrome.storage.local API to save your preferences and settings (such as theme choices, saved presets, or custom configurations). This data:
- Is stored locally on your device only
- Is never transmitted to our servers or any third party
- Is automatically deleted when you uninstall the extension
- Can be cleared at any time via your browser's extension settings
4. Network Requests
The only network requests our extensions make are:
- License validation (paid extensions only): When you enter a license key, the extension sends just the key to our license server to verify its validity. No personal information is transmitted. The server URL is
microassets-license-server-production.up.railway.app.
- API-based tools (e.g., API Tester Pro, HTTP Headers Viewer): These extensions make requests to URLs you specify as part of their core functionality. We do not intercept, log, or store these requests.
5. Permissions We Use
We request only the minimum browser permissions required for each extension to function. Common permissions include:
- activeTab: Allows the extension to interact with the current tab only when you explicitly click the extension icon. We cannot access any other tabs or browse your history.
- storage: Used to save your settings and preferences locally on your device.
- clipboardWrite: Used by tools that copy generated code or content to your clipboard.
- tabs: Used only by tab management extensions (e.g., Tab Groups Saver) to read tab titles and URLs for organizing purposes. This data stays on your device.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services in our infrastructure (not in the extensions themselves):
- Stripe: For payment processing of premium licenses. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment transactions. We never see or store your full credit card number.
- Railway: For hosting our license validation server. Railway processes only license key validation requests (no personal data).
7. Children's Privacy
Our extensions are general-purpose tools and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal data, most data-subject-rights requests (GDPR Article 15–22, CCPA) are not applicable. However, if you have any concerns:
- You can uninstall any extension at any time to remove all locally stored data
